Satellite radio check antenna warning

Two days of driving since tie wrap repair and XM radio is working perfectly.

Update. What I thought was the antenna was instead the mike. I once again removed the heater vent and duct and I found the black box. I have secured the antenna with a tie wrap around the box. Tomorrow I will see if this fixes my antenna searching problem.

I have a Itaska Solei 34t. It is in the shop for its one year warranty list of fixes. One was the satellite radio antenna. It would go out and I would tap on the dash and it would start working. Finally went out all the way. Service tech told me the connection came loose and it is not what he called a good set up. He fixed it and tapped the connection so it wont happen again.

Stick your head under the dash. There is a little black box tywrapped under there. Check the antenna connection. It is usually right behind the radio and about 1"x 5" long. Had a similar issue with mine but had to replace it because it would not activate.
