There is no ability to get trans temp in the Sprinter on a ScanGauge that I know of.

That being said, you want to have a code reader with you anyway so why not have one that displays lots of good info? I keep water temp, LOD (I use it to downshift climbing) , MPG average, and boost up on my display. I also use it to plan fuel stops using the miles remaining function. I highly recommend having one for the price. If you get a rogue CEL or one induced by accident (you can induce one by pulling the chassis battery disconnect too soon after shut down on a Sprinter) you can read it and clear it.

I do have one and have it set-up. I have to figure out to change the display. Not sure LOD is and what lettering shows boost? And what does CEL mean?... This is a HUGE learning curve for me. All I know is it displays H2O temp everything else is a bonus.
