I am thinking of getting a Scan Gauge for my 08 Fleetwood Gasser are they worth the price?

I have a Cayman 2003 300 HP, you have either a 6 or a 9 pin plug or both. The scangauge D has the two plugs provided with the kit. I have a 6 pin hidden under the left hand Dashboard, I removed the panel to find it. And I have a 9 pin over the engine. If you open the second engine panel from the rear, you should see the 9 pins.
The front 6 pins on mine only reads engine parameters, like RPM, fuel, ect, it does show codes but I can not relate them to the Cummins codes. To read the engine codes, I have to plug it in the rear plug and then go to Quickserve Cummins and find the related cummins codes and what they are.
Scangauge D is fine to indicate trouble codes and some info from the engine parameters. I would like a little more like the EGR and turbo VGT, I do not know yet how to program it. I have one in my Ford 6.0 Diesel and I have many more gauges than the original.
