Start there. Load up the MH like you were going camping for a week - then get it aligned.
Ours was scarily "floaty" on irregular roads for the first month, until we took it for its re-alignment as a "motorhome" (our dealer told us the first alignment is done as a "chassis"). It made a dramatic improvement in the way the MH handled - it has been rock-solid ever since, with or without a toad. (We had to install a rear-view camera for our Wrangler because you couldn't even tell it was behind us). I think the alignment (back in 2004) cost $67.00?
