I was interested in rear track bars awhile ago. I ended up buying the BlueOx brand because the price was best, but it seems to be identical to the Henderson bar. Maybe another name I can't recall for sure, perhaps UltraTrack or someting close to it, check for an outfit called Brazzel.
During my search, I was fortunate to have Eric Davis call me in response to a question I had about the Davis TruTrac bar, which turned out to only be offered for FRONT axles. A class C doesn't need a front bar. Eric has a shop like Henderson, Brazzel, and the Champion Ron mentioned. www.ericsrv.com Anyhow, we talked about tail-wagging and he cautioned me that there can't be any significant side play in the towbar rig. The motorhome-mounted bars reduce places for sloppiness to occur, but in many cases the bar is loose in the receiver, or a drop/raise receiver's being used and it twists side-to-side. Ron pictured one in this tread. OK to use, but there are wobble stablilizers that might be needed if it introduces or increases play in the towing rig.
I can see that if the towbar arms are locked at unequal lengths, or not fully locking, same problems could occur.
And, a tip from back when I transferred rental trucks as a church fund-raiser:
If anything is loose at the towed vehicle, the towed vehicle will wander, and rock and roll side-to-side. We were using the chain/turnbuckle type rental towbars, and if one side worked the slightest bit loose, the towed would get out of hand immediately and violently. Please be sure your Jeep's baseplate is fully and properly installed, all fasteners in place and tight, and that nothing's loose in your towbar-to-towed connections.
Afterthought... Is a locking steering column involved here, and if so, is it unlocked and staying unlocked...?
The company you refer to is Brazels Rv and Truck Performance (or something like that) out of Centralia Washington. I know they go to Arizona and other places unkown to me. They are a top drawer outfit in dealing with performance and handling. They do some pretty unbelievable stuff there including fixing RV's around the world without touching them. Call 1-877-786-1576 and ask for Jon. He can ship you what you need if you can install it yourself or have a local shop that can install. Good luck!
