I've had both in a 30' workhorse and a 35' ford, both 2005 models. The workhorse was a little more peppy but the ford pulls the hills just as good as the workhorse did. My only concern with the workhorse was the yellow button parking brake that is on the p32 chassis. If it has the P chassis with that parking brake do a search and read up a little. I never had any problem with it but always worried about it.
Other than that it's a toss up.
