The parts are all standard 4" sewer pipe fittings, including the toilet flange that's used as the swivel. The only non-plumbing part in the whole setup is the tether for the clean out cap used to close up the pipe and hold it in place under the coach for transit.

guess that must have been the coachmen dealer in elkhart where I bought my parts, not HR. are you sure that that swivel is a standard toilet flange? I would think that they are only designed to be glued in place, not swiveling.
since I used a longer horizontal pipe I put a tether on the cap and pipe to support the end.
I installed it on my motorhome and replaced the plastic removable exit piece with a piece of plywood that I mounted the L-swivel piece to.

  • Our '95 Coachmen has the same setup, installed at the factory. The parts are all standard 4" sewer pipe fittings, including the toilet flange that's used as the swivel. The only non-plumbing part in the whole setup is the tether for the clean out cap used to close up the pipe and hold it in place under the coach for transit.
  • The duraform sewer hoses work well for this sort of application. My Montana had a setup like this and worked very nicely when storing the hose.
  • I saw them on I think a HR and bought the pieces at the dealer in Elkhart. the only proprietary part is really the swivel elbow, the rest standard black pipe. I made my horizontal piece a little longer than the HR one so the entire stinky slinky could stuff back inside.
what was the make of the RV in the picture?
