I went in there two weeks ago, told the guy at the parts counter the part number of the Onan generator filter I needed for my 5.5kw, he went in the back room and I had it in my hands in less than one minute. He rang it up and I was out of the store. No problem!
That's the big difference; you had a part number. It shouldn't have been but it was.
