How long has it been since you sold your roadtrek? It may get better with time.
They are built not far from us and we were going to buy one but hubby is 6'3" and felt very claustrophobic in it.
If you still have the urge to camp/travel could you possibly buy a small TT?
We would feel lost also if we didn’t camp but we would tent again if needed, LOL
