Buyers remorse

Probably made the biggest mistake of my life buying from Camping world but here we are. I went ahead and got their insurance without checking with Jake from State Farm. Did anyone else get their coverage? And it looks like they might have double dipped because I have their coverage on the wheels and tires and travel insurance. Wouldn’t Assurant cover that as well? I’m going to have to have a conversation with the dealer. I’m not liking this at all.

  • Afaik Assurant is not a “normal” insurance company.  Not sure what rabbit holes CW drug you down but they probably fleeced your pockets on the way in and out….

Drop all that chit.  anything you signed with CW is likely a means of collecting $ from your for some weird service
Then just go insure the thing like any other vehicle
Now if you have gap ins (Assurant) and CW financing, you may not be able to get out of that, in which case refi the camper and kick CW to the curb (see, same answer regardless of situation when doing with CW) unless you can’t due to bad credit, upside down already etc

  • Just because you signed up doesn’t necessarily mean you have to continue with it. Cancellation is generally an option. Read the policy(ies) regarding what is covered and how to cancel.

  • Are you confusing road side assistance or a warranty with insurance?

  • Sorry to hear this news. Go talk to them, stay calm but be persistent. Good luck and report back.
