In our situation it was the opposite. We lived and traveled in larger RV's from 1986 to 2005. It was work related and we didn't have a house to maintain. My company had me moving 2-3 times a year depending on the job. Salary, mileage and Per Diem and we loved it. We visited all the lower 48 in those years.
