Serious rust under carriage to point of full removal - HELP

Hello. I have a 1996 Monaco Dynasty. The under carriage of the RV is rusted to the point that it will require removal and replacement. The area is from front tire to back tires and the entire width of the RV. I have been told that all the storage compartments will need to be removed to get to do this job done. I have been told the entire job will take 3 weeks and probably lots of money.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

    According to who ??

I was told that the seals were failing on ALL of my windows too and had to be replaced.....and some outrageous cost. All BS.

Get a second and third opinion.
The odds of this being necessary are EXTREMELY low.
The frame on most any 20 year old vehicle will LOOK like it's about ready to fall apart; it is NOT.

High probability of a scam here.
  • Hello. I have already sunk a lot of money into the maintenance issues of this coach and I really really like the floor plan and the RV is running great right now. I could buy another used one but the devil I know is better than the devil I don't know. I never checked under the RV when I bought it (stupid I know) but when I crawled under the area from the front wheels to the back wheels has layers that you can literally peel off. The joists also feel soft. This entire area are holding the basement up. Thoughts please.

After owning this dynasty for four years why is rust now a serious problem? What exactly are they replacing and why? Need more information and who is trying to get into your wallet.
