I must say, you just assumed that the prices on the Internet were correct without getting a quote before the work was done. While I think it reasonable to assume the website to be correct, not obtaining a face to face quote before authorizing any work was just asking for what you got.

If I read it right, the "quote" was not the same as what was on the website...then you still left it and when they didn't perform up to your expectations you were still upset about the bill being higher than the website? A "quote" for service is before the service has been rendered. Once the service has been rendered it is then a bill.
Some states have limitations on how much over a quote can be billed. Additions to the quote are not included in the % over the quote law.
