I'm with DSDP Don... In California, the dealer is REQUIRED to provide a WRITTEN estimate of work to be done. California is probably the most consumer oriented State in the Union. The OP says he wanted a "discount for a less than satisfactory job.", yet he also states the fluids and filter was changed..:h.
I would be REALLY concerned WHY your tranny was 3 QUARTS LOW. And why would you pay someone $100/hour to check the air pressure in your tires. Les Schwabb will do it for free..:h.
I don't have a dog in this fight, and McBride's has only a "Very Good" rating with the last post in 2012, but I, for one would be interested in the "other side of the story".......Dennis
