I second the post about United Shade if what you want is day/night shades. They are great and can get you most anything you desire.
We chose to get away from day/night shade but did not want to pay the stupid premium for MCD shades. We found some excellent blinds (not day/night) at Menard's which you could customize and were affordable. YMMV but be sure to look at all the options available.
Just to clarify.... I have the day/ night ROLLER Shades from United. Not the fabric day/ night shades.
They are like MCD shades, but, as I stated, less expensive, with better color options.
And, I like them much better since the rise speed, and tension options are on the side, so they are more accessible than MCD shades.
Blind Chalet United Shades. Both Cloth and Roller for RV's - Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIOK, but I don't consider those to be day/night shades as would be expected by most RVer's I certain see how they could work that way. It's just 2 separate and expensive shades on 2 separate rollers.
Thanks for the correction. - TechWriterExplorer

Unless I am mistaken, MCD does not make a day/night shade. Maybe they have added a line since I last checked.
If the OP is really looking for day/night shades there are not a lot of sources available.

I third this sentiment.
I installed 8 MCD day/night shades in my Class A. As of today 3 of them barely work -- for example, I have to clamp one shade down because it won't stay down.
MCDs may work fine for a few years, but I'm really sorry I gave up my original string shades. - Bill_SatelliteExplorer III second the post about United Shade if what you want is day/night shades. They are great and can get you most anything you desire.

Used standard light filtering vinyl Levelor roller shades from Lowe's cut to fit each window, and we used high quality upholstery material purchased from Hobby Lobby to cover the shades. We glued the material on with photo mount spray on adhesive, along with fabic glue around the edges. Diane did add a black ring shade pull later.
- Nutinelse2doExplorerWe are redoing our coach with day/ night roller shades from United Shade in Elkhart.
We are very happy with the quality. They are much less expensive than MCD shades, and the colors are better.
You can only buy them through a distributor. We are getting them from Blind Chalet.
Their website walks you through the measuring process, and you can order free color samples.
They have great sales quite often. This weekend they are having a 45 percent off sale.
Take appropriate measurements, and order them online. 2-3 week lead time.
The shades are very easy to install. If you can turn a screwdriver, you can install them yourself, or have a handy neighbor or mobile tech come install them.
Good luck! - crassterExplorer IIAre you looking for window shades, windshield shades, or exterior shades? If it's just simple window shades are you looking for pull down shades, plastic shades, cloth shades? Some areas of the country also call blinds shades. :) If you are looking for regular pull down shades they are simple to make. In fact measure and Home Depot will cut them.
- ncrowleyExplorer IIYou can have any size shades made at the web stores such as blinds.com. You can get day/night cellular shades and secure the bottom since you are mostly changing from day to night using the center handles.
