Shampooing RV rugs.
Hello! My dad was wondering if it was possible to shampoo rv rugs like you would with house rugs? He is new to rving, so any answer would help greatly!

Yes, you can but you want to make sure you extract as much of water as possible when doing so. It's also best to do it at a time of year with the temperature and relative humidity will help dry things completely quickly, but you could also use a dehumidifier. Do be warned that the carpeting in most every camper is about the lowest grade manufactured, so it won't hold up to repeated heavy cleanings especially if you're looking to use a rotary scrubber shampooing machine (versus beater bar).
