Shampooing RV rugs.
Hello! My dad was wondering if it was possible to shampoo rv rugs like you would with house rugs? He is new to rving, so any answer would help greatly!

I do ours once a year with no ill effect. I have learned to do it twice though. First time per instructions, second time with just hot water. You will be surprised at the amount of soap that comes up with the second cleaning.
Also, I do use a 5% bleach solution on that second pass. It really cleans things up nice, and kills any odors/mold. YMMV so the bleach is at your discretion weather you want to use it or not.
