The Rigs Look great after the Red Max treatment. Prep work is the hardest part and the key to a great looking finish.
My concern is long term protection from UV / sun damage.
I used Poli Glow on the previous Travel trailer. Looked great after all said and done BUT.... over the course of a bout 1 year it started yellowing and wearing off by FLAKING (started pealing). I used the Poli Prep to remove all the bad areas and clean up the rest of the trailer....was more work than the initial application 1 year earlier, It also took several more final applications of the Poli Glow to even out the old areas not flaking with the new areas that had to be cleaned due to the flaking.
I don't know how long the 2nd complete application lasted as I sold the Trailer soon after I got it looking half way decent again.
I might try the Red Max on the fiberglass roof of my current RV, but I not brave enough at this stage to try it on the sides. I guess I'll let others be the testers.... Please keep us updated on your long term results.
I recall the decks on the ship looking just as good when using non-buffing wax. Seems we had to often rewax them often as the finish didn't last. I too would be curious to see how Red Max holds up after 5 or 6 years.
