Is better to do the front and rear caps and then do one side and jump to the other? I was just considering from others it's best not to do it in the heat of day or direct hot sunshine?
I started at the front cap & cab, worked along the passenger side, then the driver's side, and finally the rear cap. The order really doesn't matter, unless it is cold out and is not drying fast enough to start on the next coat. By the time I finished a side, the beginning point of that same side was already dry, so I could've simply done the next coat on that section instead of moving all the way around.
I don't think that direct sun is a problem, either, as long as the temperatures are not too hot. For me, it was sunny, and the outside temps were in the high 70s to low 80s. Much hotter than that, and it may dry too fast, although I'm not really sure what that would hurt.
