8 week report:
So it has been two months already with the new finish. This weekend we banged it up pretty bad. Dirt scratches from a narrow road on both sides. It looked even worse than in the photos.


I sprayed off the dirt when we got home on Monday afternoon and washed the worst side with dish detergent and a sponge, with the scratches getting a bit of the white scrubbie elbow grease.
I can still see light scratches in the finish, but the overall look was restored easily. I didn't even wash the second side. It really looked OK with just the rinse.
I used a swifter for my Bounce sheet which I thought was pretty useful. Then I could reach most of the bug gunk on the overhead without trying to lean over from the ladder. The Bounce was just fixed into one side, but if I pressed it to the surface, the sheet stayed on. I wet the sheets before I use them.
