My 5er was not in bad condition for a 8 year old but it does look much better. I think it took me longer but I wanted to do it as right as possible. Hopefully 1 coat a year from now will be all that is needed to maintain the shine. I put 5 coats on the front end cap and 4 on the back and sides.
I agree with you! One thing I did learn that it's best to apply not in the direct heat because it will dry fast. When I applied it first thing in the morning it seemed to apply a little smoother, did you find this to be true?
