Yes, TSP is just what seems to be the strongest I think, whatever your favorite best cleaner is can be used. The important step is Bar Keeper's Friend if you have any oxidation or scratches that need to be removed. But there are even folks who didn't feel they need the BKF. Some just use Dawn dish washing liquid as it removes wax, some have used other cleaners that they are familiar with and like. Earlier in this post someone used Greased Lightening, and someone said they used Mean Green. I used the liquid TSP which I think is about the same as Mean Green. Anyway the important thing is a CLEAN wax free surface for the Red Max Pro finish. Then after the 3rd or 4th coat, step back and be amazed!
