I posted awhile back about some pealing I was having on one side of my MH specifically on the graphics. I has now grown much larger, but it's only on the graphics. The rest still looks pretty good. I was planning pressure washing it this weekend and putting it away. I don't think I need to use stripper, plus I understand it will strip your ink from the graphics. Hopefully enough pressure from the washer will blow off the excess. Does anyone have any suggestions about rewaxing after I get it cleaned up? Especially for the graphics?
Thanks,
Ben
Why not just clean the peeling area, try to trim off any peeling of the graphics themselves, and put Red Max Pro on again? If you don't get it all off, it doesn't seem like it would matter, as long as you get off the peeling areas. Recoating each year is what is recommended by the fiberglass RV site.
I read that ammonia will take off an acrylic finish? Why not try that for us and let us know if it works? :B
Also I bought some Protect All from Walmart and it seemed to be a similar finish to the Red Max, it left my hands peeling anyway.
That's the plan this weekend, unfortunately after that I will be covering it for the winter. I will let you know! I think my problem was I did not get all the TSP off when I rinsed it. Really weird but the peeling is only happening on one side. This was the side that I did in the sun, so that might be part of the issue but the rest of coach is fine except the graphics.
