Okay I finally spent the 12 hours doing the RMP, here are the before and after pictures:

I cleaned the unit with TSP, then BKF, then TSP again, followed by a a good rinse with a water brush. Then 3 coats of RMP needed to do 1-2 more but the container leaked on the bottom and I lost some RMP.
I loved the way it turned out.
Thanks everyone for posting so I would get up the energy to get this done... Even with the fall off the ladder...:S
