I was just out looking at 50 amp receptacles and noticed the 50/30 amp adapter won't plug into the motorhome because of the 50 amp twist lock. So now I can either buy a new adapter or a twist lock receptacle. Or am I missing something else?
So your MH has the twist lock connector? And you're looking to make up a cable from that to the outlet?
This revelation will change the responses, which so far have been assuming a 50 RV type cable end connection. The twist lock is not as common on MH's.
That shows how much I know besides driving one of these. The connection to the motorhome is a 50 amp twist lock and I assumed that all class A rigs had them since this is my first. So yes I want to make a 6' cord with a Female 50 amp twist lock on one end and a 15 amp male house on the other.
