We also use the camping short sheets from I guess Camping World-have had them so long that I can't remember. They work OK but in my humble opinion are on the cheap side. Nothing like the quality that I like at home but, hey, it camping-and sure beats the sleeping bags and tent that we started with!
BYW my husband is 6'2" and his feet just hang over the end.

Use the regular queen sheets, if they are to big just tie a knot on one or two of the fitted corners to shorten them. You won't feel or see them because they are under the mattress. Do it with the mattress cover also.

We went from a foam, hybrid bed to a full-size queen in a class C, back to a short queen in a TT. Sigh. We have added a mattress topper. I use regular queen sheets. You can sew or safety pin elastic garters in the corners to tighten it up a little. However, the short queen is pretty horrible if you are taller than 5ft. Thankfully, after the first few days of newbie camping-you should fall into an exhausted sleep-smelling of wood smoke and bug repellent!

We put a 3" memory foam topper on the short queen. It is regular length and the sheets fit just fine. The extra thickness takes up some of the slack. To travel, I just flip up the bottom of the topper that will still have the fitted sheet and mattress topper on it. When I pull it up, they come with it and stay fastened on the topper. I flip it back over the mattress and put the slide in. When the slide goes back out, I flip the topper back down, pull the corners of the mattress pad and sheet back down over the mattress corner. DH appreciates the extra length the topper give him and it is so much more comfortable too. No cheap stuff though. A good memory foam mattress topper isn't the cheap ones.

Only problem we've had is the flat top sheet and the blanket need re-tucked at the foot of the bed every day or two because of no footboard on the bed to help keep them tucked, and the Walmart sheet is a little shorter than the better brands. Not much of a problem since the bed gets made daily anyway.

Never a problem with the fitted bottom sheet.

I guess I'm just lazy-we bought the short queen sheets at Camping World. When we are traveling I don't want to spend any more time than is necessary on domestic duties.

RWake we use regular fitted sheets on our short queen. On another note I am not as tall as you but have found sliding the mattress down toward the foot really helps keep my feet from dangling off the end of the bed. The other thing I do is place a small pillow in the gap at the head to keep from loosing my pillow.

Put the standard queen fitted sheet on the mattress upside down, pull it tight at all corners, pin up all the slack that you can near one end of the sheet. Sew up where you have pinned the sheet to make the sheet permanently shorter. You should have a flap of material hanging in the flat portion of your sheet, it will be on the bottom of sheet when sheet is put on mattress correctly. Then put the sheet on the bed correctly and it will fit your mattress.
