Two things I would look at, one would be the roof, it may be rubber and past being in excellent condition, depending on where and how it was stored and used. Another thing would be the ball joint boots. They were a problem on the
Spartan chassis, but not sure the problems went back that far. Would not hurt to check though. Mileage should be in the 7.5 to 8.5 range cruising between 62 and 65 unless loaded really heavy. American builds a good coach. Hope this may help. Happy Trails Bert
