As we found out at our vacation home in Tennessee, be sure to drain the toilet trap or put in RV anti-freeze to keep it from freezing and breaking the porcelain, IF you do not keep some type of heat on.
We did drain the upper tank but forgot about the trap. When we got back to the cabin a few months later, the toilet had fallen over on it side when the trap froze.
