This is just our experience.... rented a couple of RV's that had the combo unit. It's better than nothing.... the clothes had wrinkles that had wrinkles..... never have seen clothes so wrinkled.
Even after we bought our new Monaco Dynasty we tried the RV parks laundry room. Big mistake. Someone had left clorox in the washer... our new towels were totally spotted (they still worked good though, LOL). So, never used a laundrymat again.
The separate washer and dryer work very well. That would be our choice.
