I gave my wife a floorpan of a Tiffin Allegro 36LA and Newmar Canyon Star 3710 both are bath and a half and 38' in length. The plans are very similar with center salon but she chose the Newmar because it has a stackable washer & Dryer in a cabinet by the kitchen. The Tiffin has a combo washer/dryer in a cabinet under the countertop in the master bath.
Most agree that the Tiffin and Newmar are the top gassers but should we really choose a motorhome based on the washer and dryer?
I would never choose a MH based on a washer dryer. Also I would never buy a MH with two bathrooms.to me a terrible waste of space
I have owned and used a combo and a stacking system.I would take the stacking over the combo but would not buy any mh based on that alone
I think for everybody it is very dependent on exactly what they want. I would agree with this post that the washer & dryer would not be dramatically important to my decision on an RV. In my bounder, it is all about space. In my KZ Travel trailer it is all about space. And in my Toyota class C, it is all about space. The common denominator is space. 2 bathrooms are out.
For me it would be an all in one. I know they don't work as well, but I'd do laundry often enough to not let it stack up.... Of course there is always the option of packing a weeks worth of clothes (and if not gross re-wearing jeans or re-using bath towels). Minimize just a bit... I think we prefer going about 2 weeks without laundry and then on our future destinations just stopping by a laundry and filling several commercial size machines. 30 minutes wash. 45 minutes dry. Eat lunch while in front of the laundry watching our machines through the store window.
