Remove the sliding door and replace it with a shower curtain.

Your problems are permanently resolved.

I would say 'no' to any sliding shower door.

My shower door opening was too narrow. One end of the shower is rounded. Those screens would not solve the narrow opening problem. I took out the glass door and a glass panel, replaced with a shower curtain. Much better!

Checkout Irvine Shade and Door. They make a lot of the shower doors for RVs. We have a 3 section sliding glass door on our shower. Even though there is a clip to hold door open I added a nylon strap with snap to hold all 3 door in place (open) when traveling. No broken doors in 20k miles.

I have the removed shower doors sitting out next to the house, and was going to run an ad to try and sell them. I switched the doors out for a shower screen Shower screen and really like how it works for us. I'm not near the house for at least another month or so, and would send the pieces you need from my doors if by the time I get back you still need them.
