Shrinking the Truth

Will you "shrink" the truth by 2-3 Ft. to get into a campground?

We're looking at buying a 37.7 Ft. class A RV and one of our favorite campgrounds only has sites for 35 Ft. RV's ...Is it unethical to shrink the truth?

My take is that most of the sites have room for a second vehicle and in our case we're towing a Honda fit which is smaller than most..

Thanks in advance.

The answer depends.. My rig is 38 feet long but in some campgrounds where I have surveyed the layout there are 28 foot sites I'm comfortable with.

It all depends on the lay of the site.
  • why don't you ask the campground if they really care? I would guess that they will accommodate you. just don't advertise it. I have been known to go a foot or two the other direction to get a more desirable pull through.
