Shurflo Pumps have a Thermal Overload built in system. IF the motor runs too long with no load, the motor heats up and the Thermal switch stops the motor. When the Pump cools down, it functions again. From the Shurflo owners manual. Doug
Is the motor hot? Thermal breaker
