Side & rear cameras

Just curious. Is there a way to record what the rear and side cameras see? Of course there are dash cams that can be purchased for the front window, just thinking this would be a benefit for the other 3.

Has anyone done this?

    An option instead of a side cam, I mounted a side/rear mirror for the wife and that seems to work exceedingly well.

    As long as there's an output jack, you should be able to connect most any recording device that has a compatible input.
