SIZE TIRES?

Question

mY 2001 DAMON INTRUDER IS IN THE SHOP GETTING NEW BATTERIES.  I know and the shop manager said i should put new tires on it.  Should i rely on the RV shop or go to a tire dealer and get prices.  Also, since i have no idea what size the tires are, does anyone have a similar RV that could tell me what size they are?

I would recommend a tire shop for tires. They probably will have better pricing and more selection. Could be 235 85R/16?????

Are the tires original to the motorhome? If so, they are overdue for replacement based on age. Most RV tires will age out long before they wear out. You will find the tire size stamped on the sidewall of the tire, and on a plate somewhere in the driver's area of the coach. That plate also lists the recommended tire pressures for the maximum load of the coach. Did the service dealer happen to give you the DOT date code on the tires?
