Sleeping on back roads?

I would be more concerned about the local residents than the police if you are trying to overnight on secluded rural roads. Secluded farms, ranches and rural homes are big targets for thieves, vandals and others with less than honorable intentions. Those landowners know who should and shouldn't be in the area and your RV will stick out like a sore thumb. Draw the attention of a rancher who just had a cow shot by someone for sport, lost some tools to a thief or had to spend a couple of days in the sun repair fences that were torn down by some teens joyriding in the fields and you might not get a 5 star wakeup call.
