In Vermont state boat ramps are primarily for fishing access only. You can get in line to just launch a boat, but never leave your vehicle. A for hire kayak tour group innocently tried to launch from our local ramp, and was fined for trespassing for running a unpermitted commercial enterprise on state land. Also no overnight parking.
