Regarding where are the brains of the manufacturers of MH's when it comes to "things that exhaust and are hot to the touch":
I found MH's that exhaust the furnace, water heater, and/or gen on the side of the awning right under the awning. :S
Exhaust, and dangerously hot items all under where you are going to sit with family and maybe small children when RV'ing, go figure.
My hot water heater exhausts right under the kitchen window above the sink and comes right into the coach. To this day I'll flip the hwh switch and go back into the bedroom and then start smelling the exhaust and go running to close the window.
