Is it necessary for slide outs to have carpets on the floor

1BryNelson: Quite a judgement call...seeing you don't ask what brand, model or manufacturer of slideout I have.
My dealership....if I DID make the move to vinyl/laminate...and it DID scratch the surface...they would most likely make a good buck repairing and putting new carpet down.
I don't they THEY are the fools............................
