Is it necessary for slide outs to have carpets on the floor

Where their is a will there a way. Any slide can scratch the floor either directly or indirectly. I was in a 1/2 million dollar Newmar that had these in it from factory to use on some high end marble floor. If you want to save your flooring then watch this video.

I been using these Slide Out Slickers for years. The way my HWH level floor slide works I would scratch gouge the floor without them. Seems like a easy solution.
I do not like carpet is why I when to nice engineered hard wood on all my non-tile floors in my bus and my stick home, but that is me......to each his own.
