slide out carpet
Is it necessary for slide outs to have carpets on the floor

Ours has ceramic tile on the main floor.
The big slide has carpet. just a 6" smidge on most of it, but under the dinette is fully carpeted (can you say stupid?)
I don't have too much problem with the smidge, we HATE the carpeted floor under where we eat.
I'd love to find a good way around it.
