I noticed on the outside, on each side is a large nylon/ plastic roller bushing. On the left side it is riding tightly against the slide body, on the right side there is a 3/4 inch gap between the bushing and the body. Right side arms are very tight, left side very loose.
Also it no longer will go in or out more than about 4 inches when you press the button. I will next try to remove power to motor and manually move it. If that works well enough I will leave it until we get back from the Keys, manually extending it on vacation. Else I'll call a mobile RV mechanic since I need a solution by next Saturday.
