Slide out topper

Noticed topper is sagging badly almost laying on the slide and when I try to bring in slide the topper doesn't roll up .Is this because no tension on the roller or what.Need to get slid in .Anyone have a fix.I know need new topper for sure.Is it possible to cut the topper till I can get fixed?

    I would guess that at least one of the two springs in your topper has broken. Most mobile techs can fix this on site.

    Try getting on a ladder and helping the topper roll up while your significant other brings the slide in. With a little help it may roll right up and the problem is solved until you need it again.

    If that does not work, you can cut the topper and bungee cord it rolled up until you get a chance to replace it.

    Don't ask me how I know!
