Slide seal replacement
Need to replace bedroom slide seal on 2003 Mandalay, on scale of 1-10 how hard is it? And best place to buy the new seal tore on last trip stuck on slide.

I replaced one on the Endeavor I used to own. It wasn't a piece of cake by any means but it wasn't that bad. Use a little silicon and a non metal pry bar, I made one from an old hammer handle. Worst part is the corners you have to cut them, then glue a piece on to hold the halves together. I ordered the new seal from Holiday Rambler. The slide cover will have to come off unless you can get to the middle, and put the slide half way out. Good luck.
I had one of my slide seals on 2008 Newmar replaced at a RV dealer and they cut the corners....I took it back and had they to do it right without cutting the corners....it took them about 1 1/2 hours to do it correctly like the factory seal. Their cost.
No need to cut the corners...cheap fix.
