Slideout extended while driving?

The electrical locks on my full-wall slideout are not engaging and I’m concern that the slideout will extend as I’m driving down the road.

The slideout on my ’08 Fleetwood Providence moves in and out OK, but neither the front nor rear lock that grabs the RV’s sidewall moves into position at the end of the retraction. Power Gear made the mechanism.

I’m on the road and have about 2,000 more miles planned for this trip. A bit of on-line research has convinced me that this is a problem I can’t address. I’ve read that there are locks on the motors that move the slideout, from which I infer that the wall locks are a supplemental safety system. Today I drove 155 miles without any problems and am leaning towards staying with my itinerary. But has anyone ever had his or her Power Gear full-wall slide out extend while running down the road?
