Heres a simple way to give you the assurance your looking for:
Close the slide, measure the distance from the slide border to the wall. Cut a piece of 2x4 to that length plus a 1/2". Place that 2x4 on the floor between the border of the slide and the wall and step on it. It will wedge itself in tightly and that slide won't budge. No way, no how.
