  • I have a kitchen slide in my Tropical, but I could have probably lived without it. I often don't even open it because it sticks out into the area under the awning. I've never had any trouble with it and the extra space is nice, but it would not have been a deal breaker not to have it. Actually I tried to order the same motorhome without it, but they only came that way.
  • We had an 11 year old Beaver Patriot with kitchen/LR slide, never had an issue. HOWEVER, we also had a 1999 Safari, the kitchen sink drain hose wore through and it leaked... fairly simple repair but a poor choice of materials!
  • '07 Scepter quad slide. No plumbing problems in slide kitchen.
  • Also have a 4 slide Knight. Never a problem with the slides or any hardware in them.
And that wide open real estate when they are all open is priceless.
  • Have 4 slide 06 Monaco Knight since new. No problems with kitchen slide out components although I had to recently replace the electronic module that controls all 4 slides - $99 on E-bay.
Also had to retighten the sink trap once but that does not swivel, just part of the rest going down the road!
