Smoother ride
Over the years I have tried to make various motor homes and other vehicles ride better. I have adjusted tire inflation, added air bags, changed shocks and even put mor Ryder on one. I read about sumo springs, timbres etc and eventually overload with info so I start over. It seems to me the shock is most important thing for smaller bumps like expansion joints. Toostiff it is a jolt and too soft you bounce. I have a new 26000 lb gas itasca arriving soon. I hope the weight means a better ride than my former lighter weight with 19.5 wheels. So I post just to get rid of mental clutter and inquiring about other experiences. I hav been fond of Koni shocks but have read some great things about Road Kings lately. Any thoughts to share?
