Sofa bed clearance

have 2011 riffin allegro open road 32 ca, and when the sofa bed is out there is NO clearance to get to the doorway from the bedroom.
I looking for a solution so you can move easily from the bedroom to the entrance door while the sofa bed is extended.
  • My Georgetown is the same way but then it's my wife and I so no problem.
  • I'm guessing the OP is both making a statement and asking a question. Most likely there is an "escape" window near the sofa bed. I can't really see RVIA approved configuration that would prevent one from safely exiting a motorhome....Dennis
  • I think what he is trying to say is, That when the sofa bed is in bed mode, you cannot SAFELY and easily go from the back of the RV to get out the entrance door. You have to crawl over the Bed to do this. Almost ALL type sofa beds have this problem unless there is an opposing slide room that when extended does give you room. Doug

Agreed! Was there a point to the post?

Was it a venting post or just letting others know?

I will say when we bought our current MH clearance between the opposing pull out couch/beds was something we considered, and sure enough, we have plenty of room between them when they're deployed.
  • Now this got me! I thought you had a clearance for sales of sofas! the title was totally misleading. Sorry you cant get to your door with the sofa bed extended.
