Buying new doesn't mean huge depreciation. I purchased a new 2011 Winnebago Vista 35F in October of 2011 after the 2012 models came out. We spent two winters in Florida with it, a few in between summer trips, and my wife decided it wasn't for her so we put it on Craig's List and sold it to the first looker for $6,000.00 less than we paid for it. Not a dime was spent on repairs as it was under warranty and only required one trip back to the dealer for minor fixes. No service costs other than two oil changes that I did myself. If you wait until the end of the model year, you can get 35+ percent off of the msrp and the dealer takes the hit. In a month or two you might be able to get a new unit in the 30 foot range in your budget.
